Robin Pass has dedicated her legal career to the fight against insurance fraud. She graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1991 and joined the Chicago law firm of Crystal, Heytow & Warnick, P.C. where she represented some of the nation's largest insurance carriers in the defense of complex fraudulent property claims, including false burglaries and arsons as well as claims for statutory bad faith damages, in both state and federal courts. She later joined the Chicago law firm of Sudekum, Rosenberg & Cassidy, where she further implemented her fraud expertise to include the defense of tort actions, with a special emphasis on fraudulent automobile claims, including staged accidents and organized ring cases.

Ms. Pass also initiated large-scale civil recovery actions on behalf of insurers against insureds, claimants, attorneys, physicians and lay-owners of "medical clinics" in violation of RICO, insurance fraud statutes and for acts of theft, common law fraud and illegal and unlicensed practice of medicine. Ms. Pass has been invited by insurance carriers to lecture on the investigation and defense of suspicious bodily injury claims and the legality of medical care. She has also been sought out by both local and federal authorities to advise on strategies to combat insurance fraud. In 2004, Ms. Pass obtained her Florida law license and joined the Boca Raton, Florida office of Stern & Montana, L.L.P. where she continues to focus primarily on the prosecution of sophisticated civil recovery actions.
